Description:
This company is looking
for a SAP CCS Application Testers and Automation Scripter. The candidate will
primarily perform software testing as part of a software development lifecycle.
He or she will be responsible to develop test plans, create test data, manage
and execute test plans, track progress and defects, and report status.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Candidate must be a Self-starter,
responsible, reliable and team player. He or she is an IT Application Tester
for SAP CCS and CRM modules. Candidates need to have current hands on testing
experience in Electricity Retail Industry, ERCOT process experience and
background. Candidates need to be able to perform manual and automation
testing; Utilizing HP Quality Center 11 ALM, QTP, LoadRunner, WinRunner and
Worksoft Certify to generate and execute automation scripts. Current solid
scripting skills are required. Project testing Develop time and cost estimates,
test approaches, test cases, plans, test data, for system, integration,
regression, compatibility, and performance test phases of web projects and
other online software development efforts. Documentation of expected and actual
results Track and report status on all defects through to closure Track
progress and report on status of test execution against plan Regularly report
status and raise issues/risks as appropriate. Anticipate and adjust for
problems and roadblocks while eliminating roadblocks within control. Effective
communication with project team, customers and sponsors. Collaborate with team
members and operational groups to identify and prioritize/reprioritize work
when necessary. Develop strong working relationships with individuals at all
levels of company, operations, and IT applications and infrastructure teams.
Manage relationship with test software vendors as well as professional service
providers.
Experience:
Experience:
Education: Bachelors Degree
from an accredited college or university (Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering
preferred). Minimum of three years experience as SAP Application tester.
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge and practical experience
of Software Quality and Testing including HP Quality Center 11, Worksoft
Certify automation, Quick Test Pro scripting, WinRunner scripting and
LoadRunner scripting to handle Functional System Test, Integration Test,
Regression Test ,Users Acceptance Test, Automation Testing and Performance
Test. Demonstrable experience creating and editing test automation scripts in
Visual Scripting languages Demonstrable experience on SAP-CCS, CRM, IDOC
generation and process Familiar with Texas Set and EDI transactions Work
experience in deregulated retail electricity business and with associated
products Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required in
order to provide appropriate cross functional support and interaction. Ability
to manage multiple efforts simultaneously. Ability to prioritize workload.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills required. Detail
oriented, self-starter with strong interpersonal skills Ability to work well
under pressure, remaining focused and calm in the face of distractions,
changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Flexibility, dedication, and
team-spirit is a must
